About the Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is comprised of seven (7) members of the community. The Planning Commission consists of three (3) ex officio members who shall be the Mayor, a member of the Board of Trustees selected by the Mayor and a member of the Board of Trustees selected by the Board of Trustees. In case of a vacancy, if no member of the Board of Trustees is willing to fill the vacancy, the Mayor may appoint a resident of the Town to serve until the next regular election. The balance of the Planning Commission consists of four (4) persons appointed by the Mayor. All members must be residents of the Town of Fraser. This is a volunteer position. The Planning Commission is granted jurisdiction over the interpretation of the Fraser Land Development Code.
