The Town of Fraser is replacing the water metering system. Most of our water meters have reached their life expectancy and need replacement. Additionally, the old meters have had accuracy issues and require the Town to pay service fees. The new meters can alert homeowners of leaks or freezing pipe temperatures, preventing expensive issues before they happen.
This project is funded by a federal grant and is provided free of charge to our customers. We understand that some of your meters are only a few years old, however we need to replace all meters to change service providers.
