Disposable Bag Fee

April 1, 2019, is the effective date for retail and food stores in Fraser to begin charging $0.20 per disposable bag provided at checkout.

County Road 72 Realignment Project

County Road 72 Realignment construction site

Construction on the project was underway in the fall of 2018, with a large amount of the grading accomplished. However, due to weather constraints, construction will be postponed through the winter and resumed in the spring of 2019.

This project will improve the existing grade of the section of CR 72 that runs east of the Fraser tubing hills and south of the railroad underpass. Its current 13-14% grade will be lowered to a 7-8% grade.

Fraser Sculpture Program - Available for Ownership

Three sculptures are on display throughout town - at Grand Park Recreation Center, Goranson Park (at the bus stop on Hwy 40, by Sharky's Restaurant) and at the Fraser Historic Church/Community Center.

These sculptures are available for purchase to donate to the town or for display at your own property.

Pay-As-You-Throw Trash and Recycling Drop Off Center

Dispose of trash and recycling in one convenient location! The Drop is open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. An attempt to cut the closing time to 5 p.m. was not well received, so we continue to remain open until 7 p.m.
