Summer Transit Schedule and Routes Now In Effect

The "Lift" transit signs

Download the Lift Ryder App to your smartphone to see active bus locations!

Due to a 90% drop in ridership and overall transit demand, the Lift Transit Service has decided to begin summer service early starting Monday, March 23. Visit www.TheLiftWP.com to see the map showing the new extension of fixed-route service through Meadowridge and the Wapiti/County Road 8 areas on the Summer Black Line. Service for the Granby Line will continue from the Safeway parking lot.

This level of service will continue to provide a transit option for those who need to access groceries, medical facilities, prescriptions, etc. Back door boarding has been implemented to maintain appropriate social distancing for the drivers. Front door boarding will continue to be available for riders with disabilities or for elderly riders who may need it. There are no plans to stop operating the transit system.

Transit service will ONLY be discontinued temporarily if directed to do so by county, state, or federal authorities. Providing safe and reliable mobility options to our community during this time has been identified as an essential service.
