Planning

The Planning Department provides professional and technical planning support to the Fraser Planning Commission, Board of Trustees, Board of Adjustment, Town departments, and citizens to assist in their understanding of Town planning and zoning ordinances, standards, and policies. The department handles all applications for land use development within the Town of Fraser.

The Planning Department is responsible for zoning code, subdivision regulation and land use administration, interpretation, enforcement and amendments. We strive to provide quality customer service as we coordinate, review, and process development proposals and applications and assist and educate the public about the municipal planning and development review process. The Planning Department is involved with planning for growth and development within and adjacent to the Town of Fraser.

Comprehensive Plan Update

The Town is working to update our Comprehensive Plan, which was last updated in 2010, to better reflect the current needs, values, and goals of the Fraser community. Once adopted, the updated Comprehensive Plan will serve as a guiding document for Town staff and elected officials to implement the community's vision for Fraser.
